The Chilean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, elected for the first time in its 103 years of history a woman in its presidency: Gabriele Lothholz (third in the photo), who will have the mission of presiding over the largest binational chamber in the country during one year.
The executive has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and strategic communications applied in important companies and institutions, among which are L'Oréal, where she worked in Germany, the Philippines and Malaysia; in addition to Cencosud S.A., holding the position of corporate affairs manager. Currently, she is founding partner and general manager of the strategic communications agency, VOXKOM.
Meanwhile, the rest of the board of directors was composed as follows: as First Vice President, the partner of Estudio Philippi, Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, Juan Pablo Wilhelmy; as Second Vice President, the after-sales division manager of Empresas Kaufmann, Carlos Anwandter, and as Treasurer, the CFO of Siemens, Alberto Flores.
New directors
CAMCHAL members voted to renew half of the 16 directors, both electronically and in person at the 69th General Assembly of the binational chamber. Additionally, they had to elect two additional members due to previous resignations.
The new elected directors were: the corporate general manager of Cencosud, Andreas Gebhardt; the manager of Ultramar Airline Services & Logistics Ltda. and country manager of Lufthansa German Airlines – Swiss International Airlines in Chile, Eduardo Hardessen; the general manager of Ferrostaal Chile, Ludwig Hecker; the general manager of the Emasa Group, Víctor Ide; the managing director of Merck S.A., Jessica Jirash; the partner and director of Química Passol S.A., Jens Meyer, and the leading partner of EY Chile, both in business and technology consulting, and for the energy and mining industry, Eduardo Valente.
Meanwhile, the directors re-elected for a new two-year period were: the CEO of Sky Airline, Holger Paulmann; the president of Tánica, Christoph Schiess, and the after-sales division manager of Empresas Kaufmann, Carlos Anwandter.
Finally, the board members who remained are the following: the managing partner of Hildebrandt y Asoc., Vinka Hildebrandt; the general manager of SAP Chile, Cristóbal Vergara; the managing director of Mankuk Consulting & Services, Alexander von Frey; the CFO of Siemens, Alberto Flores; the partner of Estudio Philippi, Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, Juan Pablo Wilhelmy, and the general manager of VOXKOM, Gabriele
