The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the project “Line 7 Metro de Santiago” was today admitted to process by the Environmental Assessment Service of the Metropolitan Region.
This was reported by the Regional Director of the Service, Andelka Vrsalovic, when referring to what has been agreed on the Assesment, submitted by the capital company of transport of passengers, on June 21 of this year.
In the recitals of the resolution says: “That, the Regional Office of the Environmental Assessment Service of the Metropolitan Region, must ensure compliance with all environmental requirements for the project “Line 7 Metro de Santiago” (onwards, The Project) presented by Mr. Rubén Rodrigo Alvarado Vigar, on behalf of the Empresa de Transporte de Pasajeros Metro S.A., as well as the formal requirements to admit the respective EIA to procedure”.
It should be noted that Mankuk has made the Archaeology studies of the environmental impact assessment. Also, the archaeology team of Mankuk is currently developing archaeological drilling activities, in different sectors of the path of the future line 7.
