CAMCHAL chooses the first woman president of its history

The Chilean-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry, choose by the first time in its 103 years, a woman in his presidency: Gabriele Lothholz (third in the photo), who will have the mission of presiding for one year over the country´s largest bi-national Chamber.

The Executive has over 25 years of experience in marketing and strategic communications applied in important companies and institutions, such like L’Oréal, where she served in Germany, The Philippines and Malaysia; in addition, she worked in Cencosud S.A., occupying the position of Manager of Corporate Affairs. She is currently the founding partner and general manager of the strategic communications agency VOXKOM.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Board ended up composed by the following: As first Vice-Chair, the partner of the study Phillippi, Prieto Carrizosa Ferrero DU & Uria, Juan Pablo Wilhelmy; as second Vice President, the manager of the After Sales Division of Kaufmann Enterprises, Carlos Anwandter and the CFO of Siemens, Alberto Flores as Treasurer

New managers

CAMCHAL partners voted to renew half of the 16 Directors, face-to-face and electronically in the 69th version of the bi-national chamber general assembly. In addition, they had to choose two additional members due to previous resignations.

The new elected Directors were: The Corporate General Manager of Cencosud S.A. Andres Gebhardt; the Manager of Ultramar Airline Services & Logistics Ltda. and Country Manager of Lufthansa German Airlines – Swiss International Airlines in Chile, Eduardo Hardessen, the General Manager of Ferrostaal Chile, Ludwig Hecker; the General Manager of the Emasa Group, Víctor Ide; the Managing Director of Merck S.A., Jessica Jirash; the partner and Director of Chemestry Passol S.A., Jens Meyer, and the leading partner of EY Chile, both business and Technology Consulting, and Energy and Mining Industry, Eduardo Valente.

Meanwhile, the re-elected Directors for a period of two years were: The CEO of Sky Airlines, Holger Paulmann; the President of Tanica, Christoph Schiess, and the Manager of the After Market Division of Kaufmann Enterprises, Carlos Anwandter.

Finally, the members of the Board who remained in their tasks are the following: The partner and Director of Hildebrandt and Asoc., Vinka Hildebrandt; the General Manager of SAP Chile, Cristóbal Vergara; the Managing Director of Mankuk Consulting & Services S.A.
